It's an ideal destination for an off-road motorcycle trip, offering trails that range from challenging, technical routes to scenic backcountry paths that are perfect for exploring
Laos, one of the last undiscovered countries
During this off the beaten path adventure you’ll ride through remote areas and stop in tribal villages where life seems unchanged by the modern world.

Starting in the capital - Vientiane
As is normal with our tours, you’ll be picked up at the airport and transferred to the hotel. That evening, we will have a welcome dinner, during which time you’ll be able to get to know your fellow travellers and guides for the trip.
Vientiane has much to see and do for the traveller, but don’t worry about this as we’ll have a day of guided sightseeing at the end of the trip. To begin with rest at the hotel and get ready for the adventure ahead.
From Vientiane to Luang Prabang
During the next 3 days we will ride from one captal to the next. Luang Prabang is the old original captal of Laos. Steeped in history with many temples it’s a small town rich in culture.
On the way during those 4 days we will journey to Sanakham on the banks of the Mekong River, Xayabouly and finally Luang Prabang

Luang Prabang
Here life moves at a much slower pace than the new captal. This old city with it’s French Colonial architecture and temples is steeped in history at every turn.
We’ll spend a day here sightseeing. See the Monks alms giving ceremony, where the locals and tourists alike donate food to the many monks that live there. Visit the national museum, enjoy the local restarants and night market.
When we leave Luang Prabang, we’ll then spend the next three days riding back to the capital, but taking a different route. We will travel to Phonesavan, then on to the famous Plain of Jars and Vang Vien before then returning to Vientiane with many adventures and stories to tell.
The final day we will have a day of guided sightseeig in Vientiane.

Absolutely not. Feel free to bring your favourite tool for capturing images or video as you wish, be it a smartphone or field camera! We will advise everyone depending on their preferences, from beginners to advanced photography enthusiasts, before the trip.
-
It is reasonable to assume that there will be some walking involved at every location. But our explorations will be slow and allow sufficient time to take in our surroundings and capture them - so everything will be at a reasonable pace.
-
Not at all. We are very experienced in working with a mix of complete beginners as well as technically and creatively accomplished photographers, ensuring that everyone gets a lot out of the experience.
-
Just let us know what is required and we will arrange something to suit your needs for the meals that are included or organised by us. Berlin’s cuisine is very diverse so you will still be able to enjoy some traditional cuisine if you're a pescatarian or a vegetarian for example.
-
No. The price includes accommodation in single occupancy as standard. We may be able to offer a small discount for partners traveling with a participant photographer and sharing a room - just ask.
